   Welcome to Phoenix Cockers

My journey into the fancy of American Cocker Spaniels has led me across the paths of many wonderful and informative individuals.  Each and every person has contributed wonderful advice and insight to my efforts to produce only the best quality Cockers.  I'd like to thank them all!!

Although I have been breeding cockers for several years, my first champion didn't arrive till 1999.  Ch. Pride's I Will Survive.  Whitney has been spoiled rotten from the very beginning.  Whitney has since traveled to the "Rainbow Bridge", but not without stamping her type into her children and then their children.  Since that time I have finished several cockers.  Some have moved on to other homes, others remain close by for my future consideration and then there are the ones you will visit during your tour.

Enough of that, now a little about me and my family.  I have been a nurse since 1983.  I did my time working in geriatrics for 17 years then moved on to labor and delivery for 14 years.  I currently work for a wonderful ob/gyne doctor close to my home town.

I re-married into a very large family and have three children of my own and three step-children.  This extends to a cumulative total of six grand-sons and three grand-daughters.  Between the kids and the dogs I stay very busy, but find the time in the warmer months to show off the dogs in the show ring.  Many of the dogs have made great accomplishments in the show ring and I am very proud of them all.  Hope you enjoy them.  So now lets meet the kids....
