Hanna
I waited almost 2 and a
half years for Hanna. Passing up litter after litter, puppy after
puppy, looking for the one with the "Right Stuff". My
search brought me to this little cute, excitable, very verbal girl that
chirped and begged me to take her home. A bit of a pain at times,
but she became my friend, my prankster and jester, my love and my loyal
companion-My Angel.
Hanna finished her championship in October of 2005 and came home to settle
in to her next great task...Motherhood. Shortly after receiving an 8
way vaccine, Hanna became very ill. Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia
is a very difficult condition to deal with. Hanna received two
transfusions and tons of steroids, but her system just couldn't cope with
the stress anymore. She passed away at 8:00 PM on January the 9th.
2006. It was one of the saddest, most heartbreaking, most gut
wrenching moments in my life. I will truly miss her. |

To
Hanna and all that have perished from her condition:
"Angels
appear on the edge of death because death is the threshold between time
and eternity." "You are in the arms of an angel, may you
find some comfort there."
Goodbye
Sweet Angel
