Available puppies will be listed in the Litter Box and will be updated with new arrivals periodically. If you are placed on a waiting list, I will contact you as soon as puppies become available.
Each litter is bred to produce only the best quality American Cocker Spaniels. Each sire and dam are CERF tested. Stud dogs have OFA certificates. These papers are available upon request. All frequently used males have DNA on file with the AKC. Each litter will be evaluated for show potentials prior to offering any for sale to the public. All puppies that are not of "Show Potential", will be offered to pet homes under a spay/neuter agreement. Once proof of spaying or neutering is received, AKC papers will be mailed promptly to the new owners. There will be no exceptions to this rule. All potential new puppy owners are asked a series of questions to see if a Cocker puppy is right for you. Please do not be offended, we only want what is best for our puppies.
At times, I will sell with open registration to a Show home. Individuals will be screened and references will be required. Contract sales are required for show homes. This may require co-ownership until said puppy has finished it's championship. Contracts vary depending on the individual. This is to protect the owner of the sire and the dam along with a long list of top breeders that extend throughout our pedigrees. No puppy will be sold to any individual for the purpose of breeding with any other breed but Cocker Spaniels or to any puppy mill. My lines consist of top producing and winning Cocker Spaniels in the country and it is my responsibility to protect myself and other individuals that strive to achieve the same excellence.
Each puppy shall receive a vet check prior to leaving. A record of shots and vet check will accompany your new puppy. All puppies are micro chipped with AKC's newest Companion Animal Recovery system upon the request of the new owners and at their expense. The new puppy owner will be required to take the puppy to a vet within 72 hours of purchase along with the health and vaccination records. This way we all are in agreement that you have indeed purchased a sound puppy. Any puppy with any type of health issue, (that are not listed below) shall be replaced with another puppy when those puppies become available. You will not be offered anything from the same litter. Vet records should accompany the puppy at the time of return. We at times do not have puppies for sale to the public and it would be possible for you to have to wait for your replacement for up to a year.
Cocker Spaniels are the most joyful of breeds with the happiest of attitudes. Most carry a constant smile on their face. My goal is to find families that will commit to their new puppy for the lifetime of the dog and keep that smile going and tail wagging. In order to determine if a new puppy will fit in with you and your family, I do require some background information. Occasionally, I have found that a cocker puppy is not the right choice for some families.
As regards to shipping, yes I do ship for a fee. Prices will vary depending on flight availability, driving distance to the airport and the cost of the equipment for the flight. The weather is a crucial issue. The best months tend to be March, April, May and September through November. Certain airlines are climate controlled and will ship year round. We have had several bad experience with certain airlines and will be glad to pass those details on to you to aid you in the decision of which airlines to entrust you new little one with. Fees for shipping must be prepaid prior to releasing the puppy.
A deposit towards the purchase price of a puppy will hold the puppy of your choice. This is nonrefundable. Money order and cash is preferred.
